National Geographic Reporter Kate Ravilious, 2/28/2007; Reports that the Space Research Center at the Pulkovo Astronomical Observatory in St. Petersburg Russia states that solar cycles can account for almost all climate changes on both Earth and Mars. The Head of the research center predicts that within 15-20 years substantial cooling will be seen with a minimum around 2040.

Phil Baldwin predicted in his e-book in 2003 that the earth was soon to be in another cooling phase probably starting in the 2007-08 timeframe and strengthening over the next one or so solar cycles (each ~11 years in length on average).
